Spike a raked stage before technical rehearsal

Reinforce IATSE / dance-supervisor order from production training. Full-out choreography is not run until rake direction, spike marks, and the no-run zones are set.

1. Confirm rake angle.
2. Confirm the downstage edge.
3. Spike marks in a color the lighting will not wash out.
4. Brief the no-run zones.
5. Brief the no-slide zones.
6. Walk the phrase in shoes before full-out.
7. Adjust spacing for the rake.
8. Then run.
9. Do not treat a raked deck like a flat studio.
