Set up an EPA RRP lead-safe work area

Reinforce the EPA RRP order from lead-safe training. Demolition does not start until the pamphlet, signs, containment, and HVAC seals are in place.

1. Confirm the firm and renovator certifications.
2. Provide the Renovate Right pamphlet and keep the receipt.
3. Isolate the work area and post warning signs.
4. Cover floors and openings with taped plastic.
5. Seal HVAC supplies in the work area.
6. Stage waste so dust does not leave the containment.
7. Use wet methods or HEPA-shrouded tools; do not dry-sand.
8. Clean, then have the certified renovator run cleaning verification.
9. Remove containment only after the area passes.
