Pass a DMAIC gate before the next phase

Reinforce ASQ DMAIC from quality-engineering training. Improve actions are not funded until Measure and Analyze gates have data.

1. Define the problem.
2. Define the CTQ and project charter.
3. Measure the baseline with a capable measurement system.
4. Analyze to a verified root cause; do not skip to solutions.
5. Improve only after the analyze gate review.
6. Control with a documented reaction plan and owner.
7. Do not close the project on a pilot that was never put under control.
