Drill NWS warning-issuance order from meteorological-operations training. The polygon is not sent until radar and ground reports support the threat, and the expiration is set.

1. Confirm the threat with radar, environment, and spotter reports.
2. Draw the polygon for the expected path, not the whole county by default.
3. Set the valid time and the expected hazard.
4. Issue the product on the taught system.
5. Follow with statements or a cancel when the threat ends.
6. Do not wait for a perfect report if the radar signature already meets criteria.
