Issue a certified translation packet

Reinforce ATA / court-certified translation order from translator training. The certificate is not signed until the complete source is rendered and the statement of accuracy is attached.

  1. Confirm the source is complete.
  2. Confirm the source is legible.
  3. Translate the full text, including stamps and handwritten notes.
  4. Have a second linguist review if the client or court requires it.
  5. Attach the translator’s certificate of accuracy.
  6. Notarize only if the receiving authority requires a jurat.
  7. Do not omit a ‘small’ stamp or summarize instead of translating.
