Isolate a robot cell before a teach-pendant session

Practice the sequence you already learned for “Isolate a robot cell before a teach-pendant session” until the order feels automatic. Practice ANSI/RIA R15.06 from robot-integrator training. The pendant is not placed in teach until automatic mode is stopped, the cell is in reduced-speed, and personnel are clear.

1. Stop automatic mode.
2. Clear other people from the cell.
3. Place the controller in teach or reduced-speed as the SOP requires.
4. Take exclusive control of the pendant before entering.
5. Hold the enabling device in the mid position to permit motion.
6. Stand outside the swing radius while jogging.
7. Restore guards and interlocks.
8. Return to automatic only after safeguards are proven.
9. Do not defeat a light curtain or gate to see the move better.
