1. Measure and mark 10-20 sites and abrade as trained.
2. Apply EEG, EOG, and EMG leads.
3. Apply ECG, airflow, effort, and oximetry.
4. Check impedances against the lab limit.
5. Run biocalibration: eyes, teeth, breath, and movement.
6. Call lights-out only after the scoring montage is clean.
7. Do not start the study on a channel that failed impedance.
