- Choose the state of formation.
- File the formation document and obtain the stamped copy.
- Adopt the initial consent or bylaws.
- Apply for the EIN in the entity's legal name.
- Open the bank account with those documents.
- Do not issue equity before the stamped filing and EIN are in hand.
- Do not mix personal and business funds until the paperwork catches up.
