Fire a kiln through a cone program

Reinforce studio-ceramic kiln order from ceramics-lab training. The lid is not opened to “peek” during the rise, and ware is not unloaded until the taught cool.

1. Confirm ware is bone-dry.
2. Stack with the required clearances.
3. Place witness cones.
4. Close the lid or door.
5. Start the program.
6. Stay in the area during the first heat as policy requires.
7. Do not open the kiln during the rise.
8. End the program only when the cone has bent or the controller completes.
9. Unload only after the kiln is at the taught safe temperature.
