Evacuate an aircraft using the cabin-crew order
Practice the sequence you already learned for “Evacuate an aircraft using the cabin-crew order” until the order feels automatic. Drill FAA cabin-crew evacuation from flight-attendant training. Slides are not blocked by carry-ons, and a door is not opened if the window shows fire.
- On the command, assess the door window for fire or water.
- Open only a usable exit.
- Deploy the slide.
- Shout the taught commands.
- Block carry-on bags at the door.
- Send able-bodied passengers to hold the slide and assist.
- Check the cabin, lavs, and jump seats after the flow.
- Leave last on that door and report to the PIC assembly point.
