Evacuate an aircraft using the cabin-crew order

Practice the sequence you already learned for “Evacuate an aircraft using the cabin-crew order” until the order feels automatic. Drill FAA cabin-crew evacuation from flight-attendant training. Slides are not blocked by carry-ons, and a door is not opened if the window shows fire.

  1. On the command, assess the door window for fire or water.
  2. Open only a usable exit.
  3. Deploy the slide.
  4. Shout the taught commands.
  5. Block carry-on bags at the door.
  6. Send able-bodied passengers to hold the slide and assist.
  7. Check the cabin, lavs, and jump seats after the flow.
  8. Leave last on that door and report to the PIC assembly point.
