Delineate a wetland using the Corps manual
Practice the USACE wetland-delineation order from environmental-science training. A boundary is not flagged until hydrophytic vegetation, hydric soil, and hydrology are each documented.
- Establish the data point on the suspected wetland / upland break.
- Complete the vegetation stratum sampling.
- Describe the soil pit to the required depth for hydric indicators.
- Record hydrology indicators.
- Apply the regional supplement and decide wetland / non-wetland.
- Flag the boundary only after paired points support it.
