Reinforce PHMSA shipping-paper order from hazmat-employee training. The vehicle does not leave until the basic description, emergency number, and certification are on the paper in the cab.

1. Enter UN number, proper shipping name, hazard class, and packing group in that order.
2. Add the total quantity.
3. Add the emergency-response telephone number.
4. Obtain the shipper's certification signature.
5. Place the papers within reach of the driver.
6. Match placards to that description.
7. Match package marks to that description.
8. Do not accept a bill that lists the class after the name in the wrong sequence.
