Apply an agricultural pesticide under the WPS

Reinforce the EPA WPS order. Application does not start until REI notice, treated-area posting, AEZ exclusion, and label PPE are in place.

1. Read the label section for PPE, REI, and application rate.
2. Confirm you are a certified applicator for this use.
3. Post the treated-area warning signs.
4. Notify workers of the REI if the label or WPS requires oral warning.
5. Don the label-required PPE before mixing.
6. Mix at the labeled rate only.
7. Apply at the labeled rate only.
8. Keep workers out of the application exclusion zone during application.
9. Keep workers out of the treated area until the REI ends.
10. Decontaminate PPE and equipment.
11. Store the pesticide as the label requires.
