Accept a scaffold for the shift

Practice the OSHA 1926.451 daily-inspection order from scaffold-user training. The scaffold is not climbed until the competent person tags it.

1. Confirm a competent person inspected the scaffold for this shift.
2. Check base plates and mudsills.
3. Confirm uprights are plumb and braced.
4. Confirm platforms are fully planked.
5. Confirm guardrails are in place at the required height.
6. Confirm designed access is in place.
7. Check ties and that the tag is current.
8. Do not use a red-tagged or incomplete scaffold.
9. Climb only the designed access, not the cross-braces.
